Hi, I'm Dana.

When I was ten years old, I made a declaration that I was going to be an interior designer, and I was not to be deterred in any way, shape, or form.

That determination (some might call it stubbornness) took me to art school, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a major in Interior Design.

I've spent my life paying attention to how places make us feel. Whether wandering the whitewashed streets of Santorini, watching a summer storm roll in, or noticing the way light falls across a flower in my garden, I collect moments that linger in memory long after the experience has passed.

Those moments often find their way into my paintings. Through layers of color, texture, botanical forms, and abstract passages, I create work that explores memory, place, and the stories we carry with us. I hope my paintings invite viewers to pause, look a little longer, and discover their own connections within the work.

I paint from my home studio in Texas, where my Havanese, Fonzy, faithfully supervises the creative process.
